Tawny Owl at Wollaton Park

This was my first bit of birding after returning from the Netherlands, and with the weather cold and breezy, I chanced my arm at Wollaton Park. I was lucky enough to find the Tawny Owl sitting in its hole and after ten minutes of looking stuffed, he/she decided to have a look round.

In addition to the Owl, there was a very confiding female Goosander on the lake.
